Thread Sealing / Threadlocking Application Method A-102
This method pertains to the application of SAF-T-LOK’S S90 on pre-assembled threaded joints. S90 Thread Sealant is a wicking type compound that will penetrate and seal pre-assembled threaded joints.
PROCEDURE
- Inspect the joints to be sealed and clean any contamination using primer if required.
- Apply S90 Thread Sealant compound to the pre-assembled joint. S90 is a wicking compound and will penetrate the joint.
- The assembled parts will be sealed within one hour. A full cure will occur within 24 hours (or 4 hours with Primer).
